Kaiju Triage — Mass Casualty Incident Training Game
Kaiju Triage is a free browser-based simulation that teaches mass casualty incident (MCI)
triage. Players sort wounded adults and children using the
START (Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment),
SALT (Sort, Assess, Lifesaving interventions, Treatment/Transport), and
JumpSTART pediatric triage algorithms while a Kaiju attack unfolds across
multiple waves.
Each patient must be tagged MINOR (green), DELAYED (yellow),
IMMEDIATE (red), or EXPECTANT (black) based on respiration,
perfusion, and mental status. Designed for EMS providers, paramedics, nurses, emergency
physicians, and medical students who want to drill triage decision-making under pressure.
